The Cursed Alpha’s Mute Bride Episode 18

Chapter 18 – The Awakening of the Sealed Wolf

The Temple of the First Moon trembled.

Deep underground, the Moonstone Amulet pulsed like a living heart, its silver light wrapping around Wren’s body. The ancient chamber vibrated as if the entire temple had begun to breathe with her.

Wren fell to her knees.

Her curse mark burned.

Not painfully—but as if something inside her was finally waking up after years of imprisonment.

Above her, Hunter’s roar echoed through the ruins.

“WREN!”

But the stone walls swallowed his voice.

Outside, the battle had turned feral.

Hunter was no longer fighting like an Alpha.

He was fighting like something far more dangerous.

His cursed energy exploded outward, shattering one Sentinel with a single strike. Cracks spidered across the ancient stone as he moved through the temple ruins like a storm given form.

Beta Clay shouted, “Alpha! The temple is destabilizing!”

Hunter didn’t stop.

“She’s inside,” he growled. “I don’t care if the world collapses.”

Below the Temple

Wren’s vision blurred.

The Moonstone’s light entered her chest.

And then—

She saw it.

A cage.

A massive black wolf, sealed in chains made of cursed magic.

It lifted its head.

And looked directly at her.

Mine.

The voice wasn’t spoken.

It echoed through her soul.

Wren gasped.

For the first time in her life, something inside her answered back.

The curse mark on her collarbone shattered slightly—cracks of silver light spreading like lightning across her skin.

The seal was breaking.

The Hidden Truth

A new voice filled the chamber.

Cold. Ancient.

“The curse was never meant to silence her.”

“It was meant to bind her wolf.”

Wren staggered backward.

The Moonstone shimmered violently.

Images flooded her mind—

Gertrude standing over her as a child.

Forbidden runes carved into her skin.

A ritual under a blood moon.

And a whispered command:

“Seal the Wolfhart heir… before she awakens.”

Wren’s breath caught.

It wasn’t just cruelty.

It was fear.

Someone had been terrified of what she would become.

Above Ground – Hunter’s Rage

Hunter slammed another Sentinel into the temple wall, shattering ancient stone.

His golden eyes were now fully feral.

The mate bond snapped violently.

“She’s in pain,” he snarled.

The last Sentinel raised its arm—but froze as Hunter’s aura expanded again.

The cursed Alpha was no longer holding back.

“I will tear this temple apart,” he said quietly, “if it means reaching her.”

And then—

The ground beneath him cracked open.

Silver light erupted from below.

Hunter turned sharply.

For the first time…

He felt it too.

Wren was changing.

Below the Temple – The Awakening Begins

Wren’s body lifted slowly into the air.

The Moonstone shattered its restraint.

Chains inside her soul broke one by one.

The black wolf inside her roared again—

This time louder.

This time free.

Wren’s eyes snapped open.

Silver light replaced fear.

The cursed mute was no longer silent.

And deep inside her soul…

The wolf finally answered the call of the Moon Goddess.
