The Cursed Alpha’s Mute Bride Episode 15

Chapter 15 – The Stolen Legacy

Rain poured over Silver Moon territory as Hunter gathered his most trusted warriors in the council chamber.

The theft of the Moonstone Amulet was no coincidence.

Someone had known exactly where to find it.

“They’re trying to erase every trace of Wren’s inheritance,” Beta Clay said, pointing to a map spread across the table. “Our scouts tracked the thieves to Black Fang Forest, but the trail vanished.”

Hunter’s gaze hardened.

“They won’t get far.”

Across the room, Wren quietly examined the copy of her father’s will. Though she couldn’t speak, every word echoed in her heart. For years she had believed she was abandoned, but now she understood the truth.

Her father had fought to protect her.

Someone else had stolen that future.

As her fingers brushed the parchment, a strange warmth spread through her palm.

A faint silver glow shimmered beneath the curse mark near her collarbone.

The elderly healer gasped.

“The Moonstone is responding to her.”

Hunter immediately turned.

“What does that mean?”

“The amulet recognizes its rightful heir,” the healer whispered. “Even from a great distance, the bloodline can still call to it.”

Before anyone could say another word, Wren was overwhelmed by a sudden vision.

Dark mountains.

An abandoned temple hidden beneath towering pines.

And a hooded figure placing the Moonstone Amulet upon an ancient stone altar.

The image vanished as quickly as it had appeared.

Wren staggered backward.

Hunter caught her before she could fall.

“What did you see?”

Unable to answer, Wren grabbed a piece of parchment and hurriedly sketched the outline of the ruined temple.

Beta Clay studied the drawing.

“I know this place.”

“It’s the Temple of the First Moon.”

“The legends say only members of the true Wolfhart bloodline can awaken the relic hidden there.”

Hunter looked from the drawing to Wren, realization settling over him.

“This wasn’t just a theft.”

“It was a race.”

If their enemies reached the temple first, they could unlock the Moonstone’s power before Wren ever claimed her birthright.

Hunter drew his sword and addressed his warriors.

“We leave before sunrise.”

“No matter who stands in our way, we’ll recover the Moonstone—and the future they stole from my mate.”

Standing beside him, Wren felt the mate bond pulse stronger than ever.

For the first time since she had been cursed, she wasn’t running from her past.

She was riding toward it.
