I Have Five Kick-Ass Brothers – Chapter 7

The next morning, the Lincoln family’s food stand officially opened.

Raina stood proudly behind the counter, wearing an apron and a bright smile.

“Delicious, affordable lunches!” she shouted.

“The best food in Brookfield!”

Construction workers passing by immediately turned their heads.

The smell of Mrs. Lincoln’s cooking drifted through the air, drawing attention from every direction.

But food wasn’t the only attraction.

A few feet away, Noah and his brothers were standing awkwardly beside the stand.

“Raina, are you sure about this?” Noah asked.

His expression looked pained.

Raina nodded enthusiastically.

“Absolutely!”

“If people aren’t hungry, we can still attract customers with some eye candy.”

Henry nearly choked.

Joshua looked like he wanted to disappear.

Luke simply covered his face.

“No way,” Noah groaned.

“I’m not doing this.”

Raina crossed her arms.

“You don’t want to let me down, do you?”

That single sentence was devastatingly effective.

The brothers immediately surrendered.

A few minutes later, Noah reluctantly rolled up his sleeves while Henry flashed his movie-star smile at passing workers.

“Come on over!”

“Feed your stomachs and your eyes!”

The crowd burst into laughter.

Soon, a long line formed in front of the food stand.

Orders poured in faster than they could handle.

“I’ll take twenty lunches!”

“Make mine thirty!”

“We’re sold out already?”

Raina’s eyes widened.

“We’re going to be rich!”

The brothers couldn’t help smiling at her excitement.

To them, the money was insignificant.

But seeing Raina so happy made every second worth it.

Just then, a luxury black sedan slowed near the construction site.

Inside sat Theo Jones.

He had been unable to stop thinking about the familiar girl he had glimpsed the day before.

And now, there she was.

Standing behind a simple food stand.

Laughing.

Working hard.

Helping customers.

Completely different from the polished image Coco had presented.

Theo found himself unable to look away.

The sunlight reflected in Raina’s eyes as she smiled at a customer.

For a brief moment, a memory flashed through his mind.

A frightened younger version of himself.

A dangerous accident.

And a brave girl who had rushed forward without hesitation.

The resemblance was impossible to ignore.

“Do I know this girl?” Theo murmured.

His assistant followed his gaze.

“Who?”

“The girl at the food stand.”

Theo’s eyes narrowed.

“She seems familiar.”

Very familiar.

As if he had spent years searching for her.

Unable to resist any longer, Theo opened the car door and stepped out.

He walked toward the stand.

Raina immediately noticed the well-dressed stranger approaching.

With her usual enthusiasm, she greeted him.

“Hello, sir.”

“Are you here for the show or for lunch?”

Theo stared at her for a moment.

The voice.

The smile.

The eyes.

Every instinct told him he was getting closer to the truth.

Finally, he spoke.

“Actually…”

His gaze shifted past Raina toward one of the Lincoln brothers.

“I’m here to see him.”

But even as he said the words, his attention remained fixed on the girl who had unknowingly captured all of it.

And for the first time, fate was bringing Theo and Raina face-to-face.
