Episode 7 – Banishment and the Alpha’s Call
The hall erupted in chaos. Nikolaus sneered, his words venomous. “Force himself on you? Oh, Wren… as if anyone would want a piece of that underdeveloped—”
Wren flinched but held her ground. “I’m not lying,” she thought, though no sound escaped her lips.
Anneliese’s fury was sharp. “You’ve gone too far this time. It’s time to remove this embarrassment from our pack.”
The words struck like a blade. Wren’s knees weakened. “I… don’t have a wolf… I’ll die without a pack,” she thought desperately.
Gertrude’s voice rang through the hall, cold and final. “As Alpha of the Wolfhart Pack, I hereby banish you, Wren Wolfhart, to the woods. From here on out, you are a rogue.”
Whispers filled the room. “How long till Alpha Hunter kills her?” one wolf muttered. “Anyone want to place bets?”
But then, cutting through the fear and the jeers, a deep, commanding scent reached Wren’s senses. My mate…
