Fated to My Forbidden Alpha – Chapter 17

The night after the revelation, Blood Moon Packhouse was anything but peaceful.

Whispers spread like wildfire.

Something had changed.

Selene was no longer just a servant in the eyes of those who paid attention.

She was becoming something else.

Something unknown.

Something dangerous.

Inside the infirmary corridor, Selene stood frozen.

Alpha Ethel was there.

For the first time, he was no longer hiding.

His eyes locked onto her with an intensity that made her chest tighten.

Not fear.

Not authority.

Something deeper.

Recognition.

“Selene…” he whispered.

Her wolf stirred immediately.

Lyla’s voice trembled.

“Selene… something is wrong.”

“What is it?”

“His scent… it feels like ours.”

Selene frowned.

“What do you mean ‘ours’?”

But Ethel stepped forward before Lyla could answer.

His voice broke slightly.

“Where did you get your name?”

Selene blinked.

“I… don’t know. The pack gave it to me.”

Ethel’s hands clenched.

“And before that?”

Silence.

Selene shook her head.

“I was told I was found near the border when I was a child.”

Ethel’s breath hitched.

The room felt heavier.

Alexander arrived just in time to hear the exchange.

His expression darkened.

Jackson followed closely behind.

And immediately—

Three Alpha presences collided in the hallway.

The pressure was suffocating.

Even guards struggled to remain standing.

Luke whispered.

“This is bad…”

Drake nodded.

“This is worse than bad.”

Ethel’s gaze never left Selene.

“You were found… after the Bloodwind conflict.”

Selene frowned.

“Yes.”

Ethel took another step forward.

His voice softened.

“And you were about three years old.”

A pause.

Selene’s heartbeat quickened.

“Yes…”

Something about the way he was speaking—

It felt wrong.

Too precise.

Too personal.

Ethel reached into his coat slowly.

And pulled out the silver bracelet.

The one engraved with faded letters.

“My Selene.”

He held it up.

The moment Selene saw it—

Something inside her chest cracked.

A strange wave of emotion surged through her.

Pain.

Confusion.

Recognition.

Lyla gasped.

“Selene… I remember this scent…”

“What?”

“It’s from you.”

Selene staggered back.

“No… I don’t know him.”

But her voice lacked conviction.

Because something deep inside her disagreed.

Jackson stepped forward immediately.

“This is ridiculous.”

His voice was sharp.

“She’s a Blood Moon pack member.”

Ethel turned toward him slowly.

“Is she?”

The question landed like a blade.

Jackson hesitated.

For the first time.

Alexander, however, said nothing.

But his wolf was roaring.

Because the bond inside him had shifted again.

Stronger.

Sharper.

And now—

Conflicted.

Selene was not just reacting to him.

She was reacting to Ethel too.

That should not be possible.

Unless…

Something had been hidden.

For a long time.

Suddenly—

A sharp pulse exploded inside Selene’s chest.

She gasped.

Her vision blurred.

“Lyla!”

But Lyla didn’t respond immediately.

Instead—

Silence.

Then a whisper.

“Selene… I see it.”

“What do you see?”

A pause.

Then—

“Your blood remembers him.”

Selene’s knees weakened.

“What are you talking about?”

But before Lyla could answer—

A deep voice cut through the hallway.

Cold.

Controlled.

Dangerous.

“Enough.”

Alexander.

He stepped forward.

His gaze locked onto Ethel.

“This is not the place.”

Then shifted to Selene.

“And she is not stable right now.”

Jackson immediately reacted.

“She’s fine.”

Alexander didn’t even look at him.

“That’s not what her wolf is saying.”

The hallway froze.

Because Alexander was right.

Selene was shaking.

Barely standing.

Something inside her was waking up.

Something no one understood yet.

At that exact moment—

Far outside the manor, Tiffany stood in the shadows of the courtyard.

Watching.

Listening.

Smiling faintly.

So it had begun.

The truth was surfacing.

Which meant one thing:

She had to move faster.

Before Selene remembered who she really was…

She needed to make sure there was nothing left to remember.

Back inside, Ethel finally spoke again.

His voice cracked.

“If you are not my daughter…”

A pause.

His eyes softened.

“Then why does my heart recognize you?”

Silence fell.

Even Jackson had nothing to say.

Even Alexander didn’t interrupt.

Because for the first time—

All three Alphas were staring at the same girl…

And none of them knew the truth anymore.

Selene stepped back slowly.

Her voice barely audible.

“I don’t know who I am…”

Lyla finally spoke again.

But this time—

Her voice was different.

Hesitant.

Afraid.

“Selene…”

“What?”

A long silence.

Then the truth began to form.

“I think… you were never just a servant.”

Selene froze.

Her breath stopped.

The world tilted slightly.

Because deep down—

She already knew.

And somewhere in the distance, the Moon Goddess watched quietly…

As the forgotten daughter of Bloodwind finally began to awaken.
