The Lincoln family dining room had never been so lively.
Raina’s sudden announcement about opening a food stand had left everyone stunned.
Mrs. Lincoln was the first to recover.
“Raina, sweetheart, you don’t have to do all that.”
She almost revealed the truth about the family’s wealth before catching herself.
“Our family is actually…”
Before she could finish, Noah quickly interrupted.
“Raina, that’s a great idea.”
He shot his mother a warning glance.
The secret test wasn’t over yet.
Mrs. Lincoln immediately understood and changed the subject.
“Well… what kind of food are you planning to sell?”
Raina smiled confidently.
“Your food, Mom.”
The simple word made Mrs. Lincoln freeze.
For twenty years, she had dreamed of hearing her biological daughter call her that.
“Mom.”
The word echoed in her heart.
Raina didn’t notice the tears forming in her mother’s eyes.
“I’ll prepare the ingredients while you supervise the cooking.”
“On my way here, I saw dozens of construction workers.”
She turned toward Noah.
“If we set up a food stand near their site, I’m sure we’ll get customers.”
The more she explained, the more excited she became.
“We’ll make enough money to support everyone.”
The family exchanged amused looks.
Support everyone?
If only she knew that the people sitting around this table could buy half the city if they wanted.
Still, nobody laughed.
Instead, they were touched by how hard she was trying.
“Raina’s idea isn’t bad at all,” Noah said.
“I’ll tell all my coworkers.”
“That’s at least fifty customers already.”
Henry immediately raised his hand.
“Then I’ll quit my delivery job and help out at the food stand.”
Joshua cracked his knuckles.
“And I’ll bring some of my guys around.”
His grin looked slightly dangerous.
“Just to make sure nobody causes trouble.”
The room suddenly became very quiet.
Nobody asked who exactly “his guys” were.
At that moment, two more young men entered the house.
Luke and Mathew.
The remaining brothers.
“We heard everything,” Luke said with a smile.
“You can count on us too.”
Mathew nodded.
“Even if we’re not home very often.”
“We’ve got your back, little sis.”
Warmth filled Raina’s chest.
For the first time since leaving the Smith family, she felt like she truly belonged somewhere.
No conditions.
No expectations.
Just family.
Noah stretched out his hand toward the center of the table.
“Then it’s settled.”
One by one, everyone stacked their hands together.
Mrs. Lincoln.
Mr. Lincoln.
All five brothers.
And finally, Raina.
“Alright, Lincolns.”
Noah grinned.
“Let’s do this.”
“Whoooo!”
Laughter filled the house.
For the first time in years, the Lincoln family felt complete.
Meanwhile, across town, a very different scene was unfolding.
The Smith mansion was buzzing with excitement.
Luxury cars lined the driveway.
Servants hurried through the halls.
And standing in the center of it all was Theo Jones.

Theo smiled.
“I’ve come for your daughter.”

“I’m going to marry her.”
Coco’s heart nearly stopped.
